<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify polymorphism of a CYP2D6 mutant gene and elucidate the relationship between the identified genetic polymorphism and the drug reactivity (drug metabolic ability) or the drug metabolic activity. <P>SOLUTION: A nucleic acid of 10-100 bases comprises at least 10 contiguous nucleotides in a base sequence of the CYP2D6 gene containing any of polymorphic sites selected from a mutation in which G that is the 125th base in the base sequence is replaced with A, a mutation in which C that is the 1858th base therein is replaced with T, a mutation in which T that is the 2874th base therein is replaced with C or a mutation in which C that is the 2875th base therein is replaced with T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
