<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deinking agent obtained by simple reaction and excellent in ink-collecting ability. <P>SOLUTION: The deinking agent comprises a reaction product obtained by adding a 2-4C alkylene oxide in the presence of an alkali catalyst to a mixture of (A) a higher fatty acid monoalkyl ester represented by the general formula (I): R<SP>1</SP>COOR<SP>2</SP>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 7-21C alkyl group or alkenyl group; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-6C alkyl group or alkenyl group) with (B) at least one compound selected from (B-1) an alcohol and (B-2) a fatty acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
