PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set order of processing information signals if an information signal input or output format is changed in an information signal processing system using a plurality of processing substrates.

SOLUTION: A control section 204 judges whether received transmission data Din are destined to a present apparatus based on a substrate ID contained in a leading header among headers separated from the transmission data Din. If the transmission data Din are destined to the present apparatus, a signal processing section 205 processes an image signal SV separated from the transmission data Din or inputted directly based on processing information (command, control parameter) contained in the leading header. A header generating section 206 generates a header DH' to be composed with a processed image signal SV' fundamentally based on the processing information contained in the headers DH. The header DH' is composed with the image data SV' to obtain transmission data Dout. The processing substrate 200 determines transmission destination by itself.
