PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel independent suspension system capable of enhancing the ride quality of a vehicle and steering stability performance by effectively reducing friction generated in a guide means even when a lateral link is omitted, and an elastic member such as a leaf spring is used. SOLUTION: In the wheel independent suspension system, a guide means 1 composed of a pair of guide members which are relatively displaceable to each other in a predetermined direction is arranged so that the predetermined direction is the vertical direction of a vehicle, the pair of guide members constitute the guide means so as to restrict the relative position of at least the vehicle width direction, one guide member 4 of the pair of guide members is restricted in at least the vehicle width direction and connected to a vehicle body 7, and an axle member 12 to rotatably support the wheel is connected to the other guide member 2. An elastic member 14 which is connected to the axle member 12 and the vehicle body 7 to provide the force to suppress the friction generated in the guide means 1 by the input F at the position of the ground contact point of the wheel to the guide means 1 is provided on the wheel independent suspension system.
