PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filter provided with a plural number of sheets of filtering material with a simple method and at a low cost, said bag filter having excellent functions conforming to filtration purposes compared with a bag filter in which the filtering material is arranged in spiral form. SOLUTION: The bag filter is formed by connecting a sheet of inner filtering material 4 constituting an inner bag filter 2 to a sheet of outer filtering material 5 constituting an outer bag filter 3. In this case, a sheet of inner bag filter 2, the lower end of which is closed, is folded back at the upper part area of the inner bag filter 2 so that the inner face 6 of the inner bag filter 2 may become the outer face 7 to cover the inner bag filter 2 from the outside, and the outer bag filter 3 is formed by closing the lower end of the filter thus folded back.
