PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method, a display system, a display apparatus and photographing equipment which are excellent in expandability by selecting processing for image data for each transmission channel. SOLUTION: The display apparatus 20 receives image data outputted from a camera connected to a system, extracts processing information correlated to a transmission channel number of the received image data referring to a table 50 in which transmission channel numbers are correlated to processing information for specifying processing to be executed by an image processor 27, and selects an LUT matching the extracted processing information from LUT 24a, 24b and so on. The display apparatus 20 converts image data of video stream format received by a communication section 26 into image data of digital format such as YUV format etc., and processes the image data of this camera (image processing) on the basis of the selected LUT.
