PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital display unit of high quality which comprises a small number of components, is easy to manufacture, and prevents a seal from being easily peeled off even after being manufactured. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the digital display unit by putting a digital display section 3 and a circuit board 2 in a case 1 and sealing the digital display section 3 and circuit board 2 with molding resin, a hole which is nearly as large as the digital display unit display section is bored in the bottom of the case 1, the digital display section 3 is put in the hole while facing the hole, and after the case 1 and digital display part 3 are stuck together with a protection sheet, the resin is charged.
