PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a pattern where the center position of a circle can be accurately read, onto a sheet steel, while preventing a print face from side slipping during a transfer process. SOLUTION: A transfer pattern (19) formed on the print face of a roller stamp (100) is transferred onto the sheet steel (50), and then the sheet steel is press molded, and an expansion/contraction distribution of the sheet steel is measured by an apparatus for measuring the expansion/contraction distribution of a press molded product, based on the transfer pattern after the press molding process. The transfer pattern is composed of patterns each of which has a circular peripheral line, and one of a dot, a line and a circle concentric with the the peripheral line, or their combination pattern is formed inside the peripheral line.
