摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of detecting precisely and efficiently a rotation abnormality of undriven rolls, having no rotation driving means. SOLUTION: In this rotation abnormality detection method of the undriven rolls of a conveyance device, having the plurality of undriven rolls, each position in the conveyance direction of a conveyed article passing on the rolls is tracked for as long as a prescribed period; and a tracking rotation speed of the rolls acquired by, corresponding to each position of the conveyed article by tracking, is determined; a tracking average rotation speed of the rolls is determined by averaging the tracking rotation speed of the rolls for as long as the prescribed period; and it is determined that rotation of the rolls becomes abnormal, when the tracking average rotation speed becomes lower than the reference tracking average rotation speed.
