REINFORCING AIR BAG FOR SAFE TIRE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing air bag for a safe tire capable of keeping the temperature distribution in the tire relatively uniform because air filled into the tire flows stably over the whole tire inside in the tire stored state, and to provide a method of efficiently manufacturing the airbag. SOLUTION: The hollow and annular reinforcing airbag 1 is stored in the tire 2, air is filled into the airbag at an inner pressure set by a relation with a predetermined air pressure of the tire 2, and a clearance S1is formed between it and at least the tire inner surface in a normal state of the inner pressure of the tire 2. The airbag increases in diameter or deforms following the decrease of the inner pressure of the tire 2 and supports the load instead of the tire 2. The reinforcing airbag 1 has an air impermeable tube 6 and an annular support body 7 for tightly covering the whole outer surface of the tube 6. The annular support body 7 has a circulation passage allowing air to flow between a rim 3 and the reinforcing airbag 1 in a specific outer surface region A extending from the outer part 4 contacting at least the rim 3 to the outer part 5 contacting the tire 2 in the tire stored state.
