PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration apparatus which can be installed without requiring work such as demolition of an overflow dam already constructed, effectively prevent foreign matters from unspecified contamination sources at rainy days from flowing into rivers etc. and improve the landscape of rivers and surrounding environment through the removal of the foreign matters. SOLUTION: The filtration apparatus is composed of a screw 23 of scraping the foreign matters, a screen 22 of discharging treated water and a control panel 17 of controlling the screw 23.
