METHOD FOR ASSAYING HEPATO-NEOPLASTIC LESION OR PRE-NEOPLASTIC LESION OF RAT NEGATIVE TO ANTIBODY RECOGNIZING PLACENTAL GLUTATHIONE-S-TRANSFERASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cancer assaying method, etc., for accurately and easily estimating the carcinogenicity of chemical substances as far as possible. SOLUTION: A method for assaying hepato-neoplastic lesion or pre-neoplastic lesion of rat negative to an antibody recognizing placental glutathione-S-transferase comprises (1) a 1st step to determine the expression level of the gene ofα2-macroglobulin in the specimen and (2) a 2nd step to compare the measured value of the expression level of the gene in the specimen obtained by the 1st step with the contrast value of the expression level of the gene and estimate the presence or its extent of the hepato-neoplastic lesion or pre-neoplastic lesion of rat negative to the antibody recognizing placental glutathione-S-transferase based on the comparison result.
