PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for producing bacon material, capable of securing the optimum quality of the bacon material for each container, improving the yield of the material, and simplified in tightening operation. SOLUTION: The machine for producing bacon material comprises such a shallow-bottomed box-shaped container 16 that the top is open, the sidewalls 11-14 and the bottom 15 are formed of perforated plates respectively, and raw meat M is to be contained inside, an inner lid material 18 to be placed on raw meat M in the container 16, descendible in the container 16 in compliance with the thickness reduction of the raw meat M and equipped with a pressing member 17 formed of a perforated plate, an upper lid material 20 detachable via a plurality of locking elements 19 part of which is provided around the container 16, restricted in vertical movement and whose top is formed of a perforated plate, and a press means 23 set on the upper lid material 20 and capable of pressing via a plurality of elastic members 22 a press member 21 butted on the pressing member 17.
