摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas flow regulator, in which, even when high-pressure gas in a gas cylinder flows into a low-pressure gas chamber 10 in such a state that a regulating valve 7 of a gas-pressure reducing mechanism in the gas flow regulator becomes non-adjustable by some reasons, the gas flows out instantaneously by a safety mechanism so that each part of the gas flow regulator is not put under a gas pressure higher than its withstand pressure and not damaged. SOLUTION: The safety mechanism of a gas flow regulator 36 is provided with a 1st safety-valve gas-outlet 34 in a safety ring 31, and, further, with a 2nd safety-valve gas-outlet 35 in the side face of a safety-valve gas-passage 33. The diameters of the 1st safety-valve gas-outlet 34 and of the 2nd safety-valve gas-outlet 35 are previously regulated not to be smaller than a diameter that makes a pressure in a low-pressure gas chamber 10 not higher than the withstand pressure of each part of the gas flow regulator 36 on abnormal rising of the pressure in the low-pressure gas chamber 10, and not to be larger than a diameter that is limited by the shape and the mechanical strength of the safety mechanism.
