PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust residual magnetism preventive clearance between a fixed core and a movable core in a valve opening state of a needle valve without relying on cutting work, by dispensing with a cleaning process after press-in, by preventing generating chips from protruding to an external part, when pressing the needle valve in a connecting hole of the movable core. SOLUTION: This solenoid fuel injection valve is constituted so that the bag-shaped connecting hole 38 is arranged in the movable core 37 for pressing in a head part 34a of the needle valve 33; adjusting clearance 40 is arranged between an inner end surface of the connecting hole 38 and the head part 34a, for adjusting the residual magnetism preventive clearance between the fixed core 26 and the movable core 37 in the valve opening state of the needle valve 33, by an adjustment of the press-in depth of the head part 34a into this connecting hole 38; and this adjusting clearance 40 can form a chip reservoir for shutting up chips generated when pressing the head part 34a in the connecting hole 38.
