PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method and an inspection system of a package for retorting sterilization treatment, capable of performing accurately and quickly 100% inspection whether each retorting sterilization treatment package reaches a retorting temperature in a noncontact way, preventing quality accident prior to shipment as a product, and safely providing only the product reaching the retorting control temperature, to a consumer. SOLUTION: This inspection system and this inspection method of the package for the retorting sterilization treatment are equipped with a printing process for displaying completion of the retorting sterilization treatment on a part of the package, relative to each retorting sterilization treated package; a photographing process of a printed part running continuously; a determination process for comparing a photographed image signal based on an image signal in a reference color; and a determination process for determining that the difference exceeds a prescribed value, when the difference between the photographed image signal on the printed part and the image signal in the reference color is exceeds the prescribed value.
