The rotary drive device has a housing (13) with rotatable output part (26). A damper (39) forms a constituent part of a damper module (41) mounted detachable on the housing whilst an additional module (29) which can be coupled detachable and rotationally secured to the output part has a stop element (37) for stopping against the associated damper. The damper module can be fixed on the housing through a standard interface arranged around a socket section (28) of the output part which passes through the top side of the housing to hold the secondary module.
