Consumer product labeling device in which products to be labeled are held in product carriers which move along a conveyer device and have windows permitting labeling of the product on both its top and bottom sides

Device for attaching labels (8) to consumer products (6) has a conveyer device (2) with at least a product carrier (4) in which a consumer product is carried. Each product carrier has at two windows through which the inserted product can be easily accessed from either the front or rear side. The conveyer device has a label dispenser (18) for applying labels on the product front side and a second label dispenser (22) for applying labels on the product rear side. An independent claim is made for a method for applying labels to consumer products supported in a product carrier on a conveyer belt.
