An ultraviolet-curable hard coating resin composition which is suitable for surface coating of plastic films or sheets and is transparent and excellent in antistatic properties; and antistatic hard- coated films or sheets comprising antistatic layers made from the coating resin composition. An antistatic hard coating resin composition which is curable by irradiation with ultraviolet rays and which comprises conductive zinc oxide having a mean primary particle diameter of 0. 05mum or below, an ultraviolet-curable (meth)acrylate having at least one (meth)acryloyl group in the molecule, and a photopolymerization initiator with the content of the conductive zinc oxide ranging from 50 to 95 % by mass based on the total amount of all of the components. The composition preferably further contains as the dispersant a silane coupling agent or a tertiary amine having two or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule.
