The block has two left and right inner chambers separated by a partition, and an upper side with a hollow shape structure to maintain mortar and to reinforce wedged keying. The left and/or right chambers have an opening with groove at the side of the ends for horizontal passage of air in the block from left and/or from right and has an opening at its upper side for vertical passage of air in the block from top or from bottom. An independent claim is also included for a method of laying concrete blocks.
