The device has a rigid chassis (5) with front and rear wheels (8) rotating around an axis (YY`) perpendicular to the chassis. A sensor (19) is fixed to the chassis for measuring a determined reference angular position of each wheel. An electronic circuit compares the value of the determined reference angular position with the value of an angular position of each wheel measured by a measurement instrument of a support.
