<p>A hand held device for applying correction tape (4) on an application surface (20) does only have a supply spool (3) for a stock of the correction tape (4). An applicator element (5), which can be a roller, applies the correction tape (4) in its entirety on the application surface (20). No backing tape or similar is rewound back into the casing. Therefore a second rewinding spool can be omitted. In the vicinity of the application element (5) a cut off separating element (10) is provided for cutting off or separating the correction tape (4) when lifting the device (1) of an application surface (20).</p> |
