PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm that a clutch disk reaches the limit of wear from the outside of a clutch housing even if a sleeve cylinder in the clutch housing is allowed to perform the shielding operation of a clutch. SOLUTION: In a clutch apparatus 1 being accommodated in the clutch housing 2, the piston 11 of the sleeve cylinder 10 is brought into contact with a release bearing 7 in contact with a diaphragm spring 6 for performing the disconnecting operation of the clutch disk 5, a switch actuation section 21 is disposed to face opposite from the side of the clutch housing 2 to an arm section 20 of the release bearing 7, the arm section 20 drives the switch actuation section 21 accompanied by axial displacement in the release bearing 7 when the clutching disk 5 reaches the limit of wear, and an alarm device outside the clutch housing 2 is actuated.
