The device has housing (1) that is constituted by a container having a cylindrical shape and containing particles (2) e.g. sand grains. The particles have a size comprised between 0.1 and 500 millimeters. The housing has an inner volume greater than the volume of the particles to permit the displacement of the particles. The housing has walls that are made of metal e.g. steel, to transmit vibrations. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle including a vibratory and acoustic waves damping device.
