PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam system by which the laser beam of a single transverse mode is easily obtained. SOLUTION: The solid-state laser includes an aperture 7, having a hole 7a to attain the single lateral mode, and an aperture position adjusting mechanism 8 which moves the aperture 7 within a flat surface, perpendicular in a progress direction of a laser beam 4 and which adjusts a position of the hole 7a to the laser beam 4. Accordingly, the position of the aperture 7 is adjusted to an optimum position, according to the change in the environment inside and outside of the system, such as changes in the temperature and attachment errors, and the laser beam of the best single transverse mode is easily obtained.
