PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which allows a viewer to enjoy a three-dimensional image with much interest by presenting the three-dimensional display more effectively to a viewer. SOLUTION: The image display device is provided with a display part 10 for displaying a moving image which is three-dimensionally displayed, image transmission panels 20A, 20B which are located separately from the display part 10 between the position of the display part 10 and a viewing position for visually recognizing the three-dimensional display and form the three-dimensional image of the moving image in the space opposite to the display part 10, and motors 42, 43 which move the image transmission panels 20A, 20B relatively to the display part 10 so as to vary the distance between the image transmission panel 20A, 20B and the display part 10.
