PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the movement of a valve body 2 is prevented by the contact of a cleaning pin with the inner peripheral surface of an orifice hole 21 because the cleaning pin is fixed to a body 11 in a pilot type solenoid valve which is closed by bringing the valve body 2 into press contact with a valve port 5 through charging water into a space 16 on the reverse side of the valve body 2 through the orifice hole 21, until now, in such a pilot type solenoid valve, the orifice hole 21 does not operate when the orifice hole 21 has been closed by water scale, etc. produced by the use for a long time, for this reason, the orifice hole 21 must be cleaned for every time of the movement of the valve body 2 by inserting the cleaning pin into the orifice hole 21 in order to clean the orifice hole 21. SOLUTION: In the pilot type solenoid valve, the cleaning pin is loosely fitted in the orifice hole so as to form a required clearance between the inside peripheral surface of the orifice hole and the cleaning pin. The cleaning pin is supported by the valve body. When the valve body moves, the cleaning pin moves relative to the orifice hole. As a result, the jamming of the orifice hole is prevented.
