PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a defect in a device for controlling stop of fuel feed to an engine during deceleration of a vehicle that vehicle resonance is caused by backlash of a differential gear and riding comfort is deteriorated when start of a fuel cut is delayed during the vehicle deceleration. SOLUTION: In the engine fuel feed stop controlling device, when it is in vehicle deceleration condition in which fuel should be cut (step 1), when engine rotation speed NE exceeds a predetermined rotation speed judgment value NE0 (step 2) and when a variation direction of the engine rotation speed NE turns over from a decreasing direction to an increasing direction (steps 4, 5) under a condition that an estimate value TENG of engine torque is lower than a predetermined torque judgment value TENG0 (step 3), a fuel cut is preformed (step 9).
