PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce middle frequency load noise, and to restrict the deterioration of rolling resistance. SOLUTION: This pneumatic radial tire 10 has at least one of belt cover layers 4A and 4B as reinforcing members for belt layers 3A and 3B, and the belt cover layers 4A and 4B are extended by a predetermined length b from the end of the belt layers 3A and 3B on a tire shoulder Sh side. A nearly V-shape bent part 5 having a bending point P positioned inside the tire is provided between the tire shoulder Sh and a side wall Sw in a tire profile before charging inner pressure.
