PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excreta treatment system, an excreta treatment method, and a remodeling method of an excreta treatment apparatus which can treat human waste and domestic miscellaneous wastewater at a low cost with a sufficiently small environment load. SOLUTION: The excreta treatment system 100 for treating the human waste 16 and the domestic miscellaneous wastewater 18 comprises a biotoilet 20 which is a human waste treatment device for mixing the human waste 16 with a porous material 30a and agitating the mixture, and a domestic miscellaneous wastewater treatment device 50 for contacting the domestic miscellaneous wastewater 18 with soil layers 101, 102, 103, 104.
