PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifying apparatus usable in a narrow space such as a general ward by miniaturizing the apparatus, lightening its weight and reducing the cost, and easily and precisely adjusting filtrate. SOLUTION: This blood purifying apparatus is provided with a hemofiltration device 11 filtrating the blood of a patient, an artery line 21 introducing the blood to the hemofiltration device, a blood pump 1 for sending the blood on the artery line, a vein line 22 returning the blood treated by the hemofiltration device to the patient, a filtration line 23 discharging the filtrate filtrated by the hemofiltration device from a filtrate outlet of the hemofiltration device, and a filtrate storage device 25 connected to a filtration line discharge port, or a terminal in the opposite side of the hemofiltration device of the filtration line. This blood purifying apparatus is provided with a mechanism adjusting the water head difference between the filtration line discharge port and the filtrate outlet of the hemofiltration device for controlling an ultrafiltration pressure in the hemofiltration device.
