The device includes an actuating member (19) with a spring, which causes the bonnet to lift. A closing part (12) such as a striker pin or u-shaped striker (13) is restrained by a rotary catch arrested by a pawl (15). The actuating member is provided with a device which simultaneously applies a force to the pawl and the closing part when the actuating member is activated.
