The holder has holding device (4,5,10) with a central opening for receiving the tool. The holding device has a bearing (7) with a restoring device (6). When the tool deflects from a central position, it is subjected to a restoring force in the direction of the central position. The bearing enables displacement of the holding device in two dimensions in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tool.
