<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a current-resonant inverter circuit of higher efficiency in high utilization efficiency of a power source, relating to the current-resonant inverter circuit for a light source having a capacitive character such as a hot cathode fluorescent lamp, a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp), an external electrode cold cathode lamp (EEFL) (External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp), and a neon lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The current-resonant inverter circuit has a step-up transformer, a secondary winding side of the step-up transformer constitutes a resonance circuit between leakage inductance of a secondary winding of the step-up transformer and a capacitive component existing in a secondary side circuit. One end of a primary winding of the step-up transformer is connected to a power source side, the other end of the primary winding is connected to a switch snubber (Switched snubber) circuit through a primary winding of a current transformer. The switch snubber circuit is constituted by a pair of transistors of mutually different polarity, the paired bases (gate) of the transistors are connected and to a secondary winding of the current transformer, one collector of a pair of the transistors is connected to the primary winding of the current transformer, and the other collector of the transistor is connected to the primary winding of the current transformer through a capacitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
