<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card capable of facilitating an input operation for a PIN that a user performs for the implementation of card services. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card 20 having a 1st communication means, a 2nd communication means, and a plurality of card applications 21 is provided with an information mediating means 22 that all the card applications can access. A card application 21 when receiving a PIN request from an R/W 30 through the 1st communication means reads out a PIN held by the information mediating means 22 and transmits it to the R/W 30, and the information mediating means 22 holds a PIN written from a mobile telephone set 10 through the 2nd communication means before the card application 21 communicates with the R/W 30.
