<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an X ray-imaging agent having a high safety, aiming at the stability of a lyposome and preservation stability of an iodine-based compound, also improving the staying property in blood of the imaging agent and achieving a good targeting. <P>SOLUTION: This X ray-imaging agent contains the lyposome containing together with a phospholipid, at least 1 kind of a compound selected from compounds each having a polyalkylene oxide group in its molecule and sterols in its lipid membrane, and containing a water soluble and nonionic iodine-based compound in an aqueous phase within a membrane of the liposome. The imaging agent contains the iodine-based compound and preparation assistants in both of the aqueous phase within the lyposome membrane and an aqueous medium in which the lyposome is dispersed, and each of their concentrations at the inside and outside of the membrane is substantially the same. Since the imaging agent is produced by a supercritical carbon dioxide method, it does not substantially contain toxic solvent such as a chlorine-based solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
