PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the shake of a subject when a self timer mode or a remote control mode is set and to delay photographing operation or change exposure time when judging that the shake of the subject is large. SOLUTION: The state of the shake detected by a shake detection part 1 is judged by a shake judging part 2. When prescribed delay time elapses after designating of the start of exposure, a photographing mode is set by a delay photographing mode setting part 5. After a delay photographing trigger part 6 is designated of the operation, prescribed time is measured by a 1st time measuring part 8 in accordance with the content of the mode set by the setting part 5, and further the time different from the prescribed time measured by the 1st time measuring part 8 is measured by a 2nd time measuring part 9. After the prescribed time is measured by the 1st time measuring part 8, exposing operation by an exposure part 4 is started based on the result of judgement by the judging part 2. When the time measured by the 2nd time measuring part 9 elapses, the exposing operation by the exposure part 4 is started regardless of the result of judgment by the judging part 2.
