PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal with camera capable of adjusting a parameter that affects image quality of the terminal with the camera by directly capturing an image without using an external storage device, a communication apparatus, a cable and the like, and to provide a camera setup adjustment method and a camera setup adjustment system using the terminal with the camera. SOLUTION: This terminal 10 with camera is provided with: an image pickup section 11 for picking up an adjustment image or a coded image; a decoding section 13 for extracting reference image component information from the picked-up coded image; and an adjustment section 15 for adjusting setting of the image pickup section. Image component information of the adjustment image read by the adjustment section 15 is compared to reference image component information of the coded image extracted by the decoding section 13, and a result of the comparison is used to adjust an image parameter of the image pickup section.
