PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic focusing adjustment device by which the detection of the cause and countermeasure of focusing failure is facilitated as well as AF evaluation and to provide an imaging device that has the automatic focusing adjustment device. SOLUTION: The automatic focusing adjustment device includes: an automatic focusing adjustment means for automatically adjusting the focal point of the image of a subject which is formed by a photographing optical system which includes a focus lens; an evaluation value generating part which, based upon an image signal indicating the image of the subject, calculates an evaluation value for evaluating the degree of focusing; and a display part which displays the graph of the image of the subject and the evaluation value.
