PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device and an electronic equipment wherein life of the organic layer can be extended and prolongation of the life can be realized in the organic EL device in which light emission of a plurality of colored lights is carried out. SOLUTION: In the organic EL device in which an organic layer including a light emitting layer composed of organic materials is pinched by electrodes, between which electric voltage is applied to make the emitting layer emit the light, one picture element PX is constituted of a first sub-pixel P1 and a second sub-pixel P2. The first sub-pixel P1 is constituted of laminated layers of a first organic layer (R organic layer) 11 including the first light emitting layer that emits the first color, and a second organic layer (B organic layer) 13 including the second light emitting layer that emits the second color, while the second sub-pixel P2 is constituted of laminated layers of a third organic layer (G organic layer) 12 including the third light emitting layer that emits the third color and the second organic layer (B organic layer) 13.
