摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize that impedance between a piercing terminal and an external conductor shield will reduce differences in the impedance between an internal conductor core wire and the external conductor shield in the case of taking an electric connection to a coaxial cable by using the piercing terminal. SOLUTION: This is the piercing terminal capable of being electrically connected by piercing and inserting the piercing blade into an external insulating covering layer against the external conductor shield of the coaxial cable having the internal conductor core wire, an internal insulating covered layer to cover the internal conductor core wire, the external conductor shield to cover the internal conductor covered layer, and the external insulating covered layer to cover the external conductor shield. The piercing terminal is composed of a pair of belt-like terminals which are arranged in parallel with a larger spacing than the outer diameter of the internal conductor core wire and with a smaller spacing than the outer diameter of the internal insulating layer, the piercing blade chamfered in a tapered state is formed at respective tip end parts of the belt-like terminal, while the rear end side of the piercing blade is composed of an arc state swelling part which is swellingly formed to the external continuously in the width direction of the belt-like terminal.
