PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door suspension device which allows a single operator to easily carry out hanging work of a pair of panels to be hung by a runner unit, to thereby contribute to saving in manpower and time. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the folding door suspension device, the runner unit 6 is formed of a runner body 10, a runner base 11, a runner shaft 12, a socket 13, and a restricting structure for inhibiting the runner base 11 from rotating. The socket 13 has formed therein a linking recess 60 for the runner base 11. Then a first lock structure for preventing horizontal slipping out of the runner base 11, and a second lock structure for preventing upward slipping out of the runner base 11 are arranged in between the linking recess 60 and the runner base 11. When the hanging work is carried out, a pair of the runner bases 11, prevented from rotating by the restricting structure, are pinched by the twofold panels P pairing with each other via their opposed surfaces, and the panels P are operated forward/backward, to thereby fit the runner bases 11 into the respective linking recesses 60. Further, the panels P which are temporarily coupled with each other are pressed upward, and then the runner bases 11 are completely engaged with the sockets 13, respectively.
