PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repellant composition for flying noxious insects, consisting of an aromatizing agent as an active ingredient, exhibiting a practical repelling effect on the flying noxious insects and also a preferable aromatizing effect, and also having less risk of fire. SOLUTION: This repellant composition for the flying noxious insect is obtained by containing 0.1-5.0 wt. % aromatizing agent, 0.3-3.0 wt. % higher alkylamine oxide-based surfactant, 1.0-8.0 wt. % nonionic surfactant, 3.0-12 wt. % lower alcohol and water.
