PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which two runners are not required on one side of a connection mechanism. SOLUTION: A space between entraining runners can be adjusted by turning an adjusting element between the non-connection setting and the connection setting. The entraining runner of the connection setting is cooperative with at least one connection element 18 mounted on a hoistway door leaf. One entraining runner 15.1 is connected to one arm of two adjusting elements 17.1 and 17.2 by joint members 20.1 and 20.2. The adjusting elements, the joint members and the entraining runner 15.1 are constituted and arranged so that the entraining runner 15.1 performs the additional operation as a result of the contact force F generated between the entraining runner of the connection setting and the connection element 18 corresponding thereto, the operation is guided by the joint members 20.1 and 20.2 and a cage door lock 25 is unlocked.
