PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partially sealed book which can add an interesting aspect to its structure itself; enhance the inducement of a reader to buy it and increase its purchase quantity. SOLUTION: This partially sealed book 1 has an extension part 11 which extends to the outside of a booklet part 7, attached to one of the fore edge 103 parts of a face cover 3 or a back cover 5. In addition, the extension part 11 is folded so as to seal a paper piece of the booklet part 7 segment located on the face cover 3 side or the back cover 5 side where the extension part 11 is provided, and at least the tip of the extension part 11 is bonded to the paper piece.
