PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple apparatus capable of controlling a water level of treating water for a coating booth by surely replenishing a prescribed quantity of water because of that the water level significantly affects the collection efficiency in the booth, and capable of being installed an existing booth. SOLUTION: A treating water tank the water level of which is controlled is provided with a water feed valve for automatically feeding a fixed quantity of water and a means for indicating water quantity to be short in the present water level to the upper limit water level to properly and simply set the water quantity to be replenished. As the means for indicating the water level in the water tank, the water surface directly shown on wall surface of the water tank can be used as it is or the position of water level indicated by a detecting means such as a float can be shown at another position. The indicating means for the required water quantity indicates the product of the water level short to the upper limit water level and the the water surface area of the water tank at a position corresponding to the water level and as the indicating method, any of analogue and digital can be used.
