PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone for preventing a bone conduction speaker 106, which is used when a flip 102 is closed, from being out of use by a function of terminating a speech when the flip 102 is closed. SOLUTION: A user uses a key entry reception section 208 to select a use mode wherein the bone conduction speaker 106 is used or an out of use mode wherein the bone conduction speaker 106 is not used. A control section 204 receives the notice of the selection from the key entry reception section 208 to set the use mode or the out of use mode. When the use mode is set, even when an opening/closing detection section 206 detects the closing state of the flip 102, the control section sets a speech termination OFF wherein no speech is terminated. When the out of use mode is set, the control section sets a speech termination ON wherein a speech is terminated when the closed flip is detected. When receiving the closing state from the opening/closing detection section 206 during a speech, the control section 204 instructs a voice control circuit 205 to switch an output to the bone conduction speaker 106 when the use mode is selected.
