There is disclosed an ultrasonic diagnosis device capable of generating a highly-sensitive and high- resolution pulse sound field especially at a small distance. In the ultrasonic diagnosis device, a hyperbola calculation section (4) calculates the distance from each of arrayed vibrators (1) to the convergence position by a hyperbolic function wherein the position of the ultrasonic vibratos in the lateral direction is a variable and the gradient "a" of the asymptotic line is 0 < |a| < 1. According to the distance calculated by the hyperbola calculation section, a delay data generation section (3) and a drive circuit (2) generate a drive pulse for each of the delayed ultrasonic vibrators.
