PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic steering control device for a vehicle capable of performing steering control smoothly before intruding into a curve and after it. SOLUTION: The automatic steering control device for the vehicle works with such steps as setting the first ahead attention point P<SB>1</SB>farther from the vehicle concerned with higher vehicle speed (Step S5), correcting the first ahead attention point P<SB>1</SB>before intruding to the curve and thereby lessening the transverse deviation Y<SB>E</SB>of the first ahead attention point P<SB>1</SB>in the curve from the reference path (Steps S6-S8), and calculating the steering amount of the vehicle concerned so that it runs along the reference path on the basis of the corrected transverse deviation Y<SB>E</SB>(Step S9).
