PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for enabling a user to efficiently interrupt and resume various jobs performed across devices without imposing any labor on the user in an arbitrary device of an image processing apparatus group which constitutes a distributed system, and for enabling the user to easily select and resume his or her desired job from a plurality of jobs in the interrupted and suspended status. SOLUTION: A user uses a job information restoring means to restore an interrupted job selected by using a resumption job selecting means, and continues the job from a status in which the job has been interrupted.
